Health and fitness week - diet

Hay everyone,

How are we all today?

So my honeymoon has been on my mind.

Which means it's time to kick my health and fitness up a gear! So this week on my blog will be health and fitness week!

So here is what I'm doing to my diet to help.

I'm on http://collagen-shots.com/be-skinny-drink-me
Shakes.

These come in two flavour banana & butterscotch and my fave strawberry

Now I make mine with low calorie unsweetened almond milk. I add some frozen berry to make it even better! As you know I was tested not long ago for my food intolerances and I'm delight I can continue having my shakes. That makes the shake under 140 cals

So I have been replacing either breakfast or lunch with my shakes.

What I love about these is they are crazy filling Which is great as I get no mid morning or mid afternoon snack attacks. As you know I have tired loads of diets and this one is a keeper for me!

I will still be detoxing a few times a year but this is a very good long term solution

Here is what's in the shakes

Ingredients
peaPea Protein: Pea protein is a form of protein powder, valued for its high digestibility (90-95%), low potential for allergic responses. Pea protein has a light texture and slightly sweet taste, which mixes well in solution. It is less allergenic than soy and has no negative health controversies associated with it.

GlucGlucomannan: The European Food Standards Agency (EFSA) considers that 1 gram of Glucomannan drank with 1 – 2 glasses of water gives a feeling of fullness. Glucomannan can hold up to 100 times its own weight in water. It is a bulk – forming agent and may have a positive influence on blood sugar levels by delaying stomach emptying. These actions also promote health cholesterol levels, thereby supporting cardiovascular health.

InulinInulin: Inulin has many health benefits. Inulin increases calcium absorption and possibly magnesium absorption, while promoting the growth of intestinal bacteria. In terms of nutrition, it is considered a form of soluble fibre and is sometimes categorized as a prebiotic. Due to the body's limited ability to process fructans, inulin has minimal impact on blood sugar. It is considered suitable for diabetics and potentially helpful in managing blood sugar-related illness.

green tea2Green Tea: Green tea is a widely recognized anti oxidant and may help in the fight against disease. A green tea extract containing polyphenols and caffeine has been shown to induce thermogenesis and stimulate fat oxidation, boosting the metabolic rate 4% without increasing the heart rate.

Stevia: Stevia extracts have up to 300 times the sweetness of sugar, it is low in calories, low-carbohydrate, low-sugar food alternative. Because stevia has a negligible effect on blood glucose, it is an ideal natural sweetener for people on carbohydrate-controlled diets.

Have you tired these shakes?
