Dog friendly Holiday cottages in kent

Hi everyone,

How are you?

My last post on our dog-friendly holiday planning went down really well with you all. So I thought I would share our next trip too.

We are looking at going to kent. I love travelling in the UK. I am from Scotland as you know and I have not really travelled much of England. My husband is English from Just outside Windsor. My In-laws Now live in Devon and we are going to visit them soon. We have decided to take a little trip with them to Kent. Kent is known for its beautiful coastline and amazing cathedrals. You know I love history. This trip will be about walking and visiting touristy places. My husband and My Father in Law love a good BBQ too. So outside dining will also factor.

We are going to be booking with kentandsussexcottages.co.uk who have an excellent dog policy and fab reviews. This trip there will be four adults and two dogs. My two lovely pups. 6-year-old Springador Millie and 4-year-old Dalmatian Mylo.

This trips checklist

  • Must have two bedroom
  • multiple bathrooms
  • Enclosed garden for dogs
  • Full kitchen for cooking meals
  • Local Walks
  • Wifi-I have to work
  • Driving distance to historic sites.
  • BBQ and outside seating.
Option number one
Medgetts Cottage Adisham - Rural Kent

Oh, my goodness. I have always wanted to stay in a thatched cottage. Since I was little I have dreamed of staying in one. I love the beams in the roof this really is a quaint English village in a cottage.
This cottage has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a free standing bath which I know my Mother in law would love. It has a huge enclosed garden for the dogs. Only a few miles from Canterbury which is one of the places we want to visit. This ticks all the boxes and more for me. This is going to be hard to beat.

Next up
Saxon Shore Whitstable - Coastal Kent

This one is gorgeous, Again it ticks all the boxes. It has 3 bedrooms, with the master being on the top level. I love this quirkiness. the living area is located on the first floor.  It has a sea view and enclosed garden. I love the decor of this one it's modern yet traditional. It is within easy walking distance to the beach and the town centre. This would really suit us with the dogs as they love swimming and playing at the beach. Oh my gosh, too many nice properties.

Last contender.
Randview Herne Bay - Coastal Kent
This one is again lovely. it has three bedrooms and a huge wraparound garden. I love the interior it is super light and airy. This property backs on the Viking coastal trail. Which would be great for a morning walk or bike ride. It also has access to the beach. This one is really making my choice hard.
The outside area is perfect for the dog and BBQs. It even has an outside WC which is handy when you are having a BBQ. The best bit as a dog mum is it has a dog room with toys and easy to clean laminate. You know this is important with mucky paws after being at the beach.

Wow, I think I will have to put this to a family vote. Which would you pick?
