Today I am taking part in The high and low of 2019 post created by the lovely Kate of kateonthinice.com. I haven't done any refection posts on the last years, so thought this would be a good one too so for you all. Plus I love my fellow blogging community and love reading about them and their lives. So this is part of me wanting to write and sheer nosiness about the other bloggers.  The lovely Samantha of stressedmum.co.uk Tagged me. So let's get started, should we?

The questions and my answers
1. What was your happiest event?
My month-long trip to Spain, Andorra and France mountain biking. It was in June. My husband works in the emergency services so time off is super hard for him to get. We packed up our van conversion and headed to devon to drop my fur babies off with their grandparents and hit the road. It was so lovely and relaxed.
2. What was the saddest thing to happen?
My in lawes lost their dog, Molly. I was super attached to molly and It was all so sudden. I am now in tears as I write this. I met Molly on my first trip to my Inlaws and he just took to me. TMI but she would get that excited to see me she would wee. She was so special. I was the only one who could groom here and cut her knots out. I could really go on and on but the tear is falling and I will move on. above is the last photo I took of her and I swear she knew this was the last time we would see her. This is the top of the stairs and she wouldnt come down.
3. What was the most unlikely thing to happen that actually went ahead and did?.

I concerned a few of my biggest mountain biking fears. I finally did the Laggan slab. A vertical rock slab. I am improving on slippy roots and my technic is getting better.

4. Who let you down?
Moz if you are a blogger you will know and liers. but trying to not dwell on the past.

5. Who supported you?
My husband has been my rock. Also, My friend Laura from lauras-corner.com is amazing. She is a fellow blogger. She lives very very far away, but we speak every day. Honestly, I would be lost without her.
The self-employed blogging world can seem a lonely place but I have honestly found some amazing people in it. I would be lost without the blogging friends I have made. They really are a special bunch. I won't tag them all they know who they are and all mean the world to me.
6. Tell us what you learned.
I have learned that shit happens. This year work-wise has had its lows and highs and you have to realise nothing is for granted. I have realised that DA is not the bee all and end all that I thought it was. I am still here. My site is still getting hits and I am making it better every day.

7. Tell us what made you laugh
My husband, dogs and my friends. My endless biking falls.

8. Tell us the things that made you cry
I have depression and anxiety. My mind overthinking will make me cry Or any sad animal video.

9. Tell us three things your child or children did to make you feel proud. Please miss this question out if you are not a parent.
Do dogs count?

10. Tell us the things that made you proud of yourself.
I am still here. I have not had an easy life and I am still here. I have learned to love myself more and accept that I can not control the bad things that happened to me.

11. Tell us the challenges you overcame
Lots and lots of injuries. You will all know I am a bit into my fitness and biking in particular. With mountain biking, there is a lot of high risk involved and last year I had a couple of the biggest crashes a person could have. From concussions to a huge crash resulting in me not being able to move for days.

12. Tell us the things you would like to change about your life in 2020
I want to work harder and happier. Become body positive and feel better in me.
I am tagging.
