The sun has been shining up here in the Highlands for what feels like forever. This might not seem like a big deal but we tend to get fewer sunny days than the rest of the country and I am loving this weather it really is making me feel like this summer is going to be special. 

I am as I write this in the midst of packing for a holiday of a lifetime. I am heading to Canada to go mountain biking in Whistler. Even writing it seems unreal. I am in desperate need of swimwear and quickly. So I had to get an order in quickly. I left it so late I know but luckily my orders arrived and I can finally share what I am packing to take with me. Firstly I need to talk about my size and shape. I am a UK size 6/8 I am 5ft6 and I am curvy. I am an athlete I cycle between 100 to 150 miles a week and I have an hourglass shape with legs built for cycling. I am a 28E. 

I like everyone have flaws and insecurities. My body is not perfect due to weight loss I was once a UK size 24. So an inclusive size range is important to me. I like to tell you my sizing and shape so you can make a good judgement on what you should order for yourself. Right let's get in to it. 

First up we have a gorgeous Women's Bandeau Tankini Top. I have been looking for a nice tankini that can be a Bandeau and have straps and this fits the bill nicely. I have this in a size 8. It has a size range of UK 8 to 20 and comes in standard or DD cups. I went with standard.

I love the rooshing on the stomach area this is very flattering. I would say this is true to size. But if you like a tighter fit maybe size down. This is perfect for helping you feel confident on the beach with a really lovely fit. I am self conscious of my stomach so this is perfect for me. I also love the removeable straps for a nice even tan. There will be no strap lines with this stunning top. I also felt very secure with the build in bra. Which is always a worry for me but this top has you covered and secure at the same time. Winner.

This is the gorgeous Women's Draper James x Lands' End Chlorine Resistant Bandeau Swimsuit In size 8. There are three patterns in this Bandeau swimsuit I have the pale green shadow Floral. The size ranges from UK 8 to 30. Lands End just understand the assignment when it comes to inclusivity of sizing. 

The straps are removable but I really like that they tie in a cute way on the shoulder adding a whimsical feel to the swimsuit. The sizing on this one is perfect for me meaning it might be on the smaller side. So that is worth thinking about when ordering if you are between sizes.  

Fantastic support in the cup giving confidence when you are wearing it with no chances of slippage. I will be checking out the rest of Daper James x Lands' End range.

This swimsuit has soft cup bra which are medium support. You can also wear the straps on one side making it a side neckline. I prefer it in halter neck. Love it.
