Weekly round up with #PROJECT365 29th Jan -4th Feb

A lot is going on in the background at the moment and the weeks are becoming busy and hard to keep on top of everything at the moment is that just me? I am so glad we are in February now.  This week has been another busy one here.

Monday

I spent all day on the computer working on all the admin stuff I needed to keep on top of. You see unfortunately blogging is a lot more admin than you would think. I'd like to pretend it was full of excitement all the time in life but unfortunately, it isn't and I had so much to do. The day flew by

Tuesdays

Again another boring one here I had lots of unfinished admin to do and not much time for anything else. The weather was terrible but I slipped out in the afternoon to go grab a coffee with one of my friends. which was lovely. My husband returned from a few nights away at work.

Wednesday

Morning I had a vet appointment with Millie to check her eye. it has cleared up nicely and she can stop per drops.

First day of training this week as I wasn't well the last couple of days. I cycled 36 miles while listening to a Rob Warner podcast. He is an ex-professional downhill mountain biker turned presenter. He has had a bad few years with a change of job and coming to terms with an Autism diagnosis and I don't think I have ever cried so much when training before. This was a harrowing listen and also hit home pretty hard.

Thursday

A bit of work in the morning and then hit the trainer again for 25 miles of higher intensity.

Very miserable rainy day here We had to take the van for its MOT which is 40 miles away in acharacle. Which meant lunch in my favourite cafe castle Tioram It is one of the best cafe in the highland and belive me I take reviewing cafes very seriously. The food is always top quility and the staff are lovely and very friendly.

Then a walk at the actual castle Tioram with the dogs in the pouring rain but they loved it.

Friday

The weather has been awful and I keep waiting for a break in. Took the dogs up the loch in the morning and another 25 miles on the trainer and a nice relaxing night in.

Saturday

Heading to Fort William to go mountain biking we managed a very wet and slippy 8 miles before calling it a day and heading to the shops. Met our two lovely friends for coffee and catch up. Always nice to see them. They are awesome.

Sunday

Another non-eventful day as I wasn't feeling too good again but managed a wee training ride of 30 at low intensity and then we watched Game of Thrones. We rewatch it every January. It is by far my favourite thing that has ever been made.

Not the most interesting week I am afraid but we keep on trucking right.

  1. I've never seen Game of Thrones. It's never been something that's my type of thing. Nice to be able to get out and meet up with friends. I don't think I do enough meet ups with friends. It always seems too hard when working and then everyone having to work around kids things at the weekends.

  2. Ahh! I had a busy week, last week! I am glad everyone is back at work and college this week so I can get back on top of things. Admin is no fun but it of course needs doing.
I watch Game of Thrones once a year too, I must be due to re-watch it soon. hehehe x

  3. Sounds like you have a lot going on. I miss my bike rides, but they are building on the fields I used to ride through. Hope you are feeling better
