I can't believe we're already into August. Summer is flying by, and it feels like everyone is making the most of the longer days, planning weekends away, enjoying holidays and spending as much time outdoors as possible before autumn arrives.

We've definitely been doing the same, but August is an extra special month in our house because it's my husband Hugo's 40th birthday. We've got lots planned to celebrate such a big milestone, and it's made me realise once again how important it is to enjoy the little moments and celebrate the people who mean the most to us.

Of course, my Amazon wish list keeps growing too! It's currently full of everything from beauty products and books to home bits, cycling accessories and a few things we've been eyeing up for the house.
