Insprational Sunday - Annabelle's wigs

Happy Sunday

How are we all today?

So as you know its Sunday which over here on MissLJbeauty means one thing. its time to get Inspired by people have have turned a dream in to there day job!

Today I'm Thinking Hair. What do us girls do when we want instant glam reach for our hair pieces right? so grab a cuppa and lets find out about the amazing Annabelles wigs

Here is the Gorgeous Claire to tell us her success story!

20's style dark blonde wig, short, curled: LuciaDark brown pixie cut wig, short: AnyaHot pink / light pink dip dye wig (ombre), bob, short: Alma

Annabelle's Wigs started out of a dream to work for myself and be my own boss.  I am lucky to come from a family where everybody has or had their own businesses, the fact that my mum and dad built their business from nothing gave me the confidence to try it for myself.

It was scary starting my own business, having all these ideas which you think will work, but taking them out of your mind and into reality is a huge step.  I used to work in London for a Law Firm and I spent my hour long commute fantasising about what my business could be, but when you have lived it in your head for so long, you don’t know if the reality will live up to it And there is always the thought that you might fail. Which was something I desperately did not want to happen. Having my daughter definitely helped, I wanted to make a good life for her, and I wanted her to grow up to be proud of her strong mum who made some her dreams into a reality.
3/4 hair piece (half wig), dark-brown, long loose curls: EvelynBlonde half wig hairpiece (3/4 wig), soft loose curls: KeeleyDip Dye 3/4 or half wig hairpiece, poker straight: Karena
We started out selling just on Ebay and I remember being incredibly excited when the first few orders came in and packing them up when my baby daughter was having her naps.  For the first two years of Annabelle's Wigs I was still working part time in London just to make sure we had regular money coming in.
Extension Hairpiece, long, versatile, Flexihair: CristinaCurly ponytail extension clip on hair piece: TulisaHair Wrap Hairpiece, Easy Updo, Flexihair: Betsy
After two years the business had gotten so big my husband and I could employ other people to help. Over the years as the business has continued to grow we started designing all our own collections and now have a dedicated team who are always looking to what will be on-trend for the next year.

We have been so lucky to work with some amazing people and had some lovely celebrities wear our hair,  Pixie Lott, Kelly Osborne, Katie Price, The Saturdays, Katie Piper, the girls from TOWIE, The Valleys and Geordie Shore, Nicola McKean and Danielle Westbrook to name a few.

"I have worked alongside Annabelle's Wigs for over 3 years, they are the only wig company I work alongside with was I adore how great the product range is and how amazing the team are! I have called up before for a photoshoot and they have sent the next morning... Great company, great range and amazing products."
- Joey Bevan – Celebrity Stylist and Fashion Design

We have a collection of heat resistant hair pieces with uber celebrity hairdresser Lino Carbosiero MBE,
Hair Bun Hairpiece: ArtemisBeehive Hair height booster hairpiece, Flexihair: PixiPonytail extension hairpiece, Sleek, Flexihair: Jasmin
we also have a collection with the fabulous Amy Childs.
Wavy claw clip ponytail hairpiece: SapphireHalf wig with high crown, seriously wavy and extra long : AmyHalf wig (3/4 wig), long, straight with a kick: Amber

Our hair is a regularily featured on The X Factor, This Morning, TOWIE, Splash, Dancing on Ice and our wigs have featured in James Bond – Skyfall, Kick Ass 2 and The Muppets.
We have some exciting new projects coming up in the next 12 months that are keeping me thoroughly busy and entertained, it might be hard work but when you're working for yourself it makes a lot more sense to work harder.

Another amazing story about the rise to success doing something you love and making it your job! Now did I mention these great hair starts from as little as £16.99 in the sale! Get over there girlies. Now I am defo going to get myself
This Autumn piece for my friends wedding. My thinking is I would spend that getting my hair done so why bother when I can get this an look amazing time and time again?

Blonde, straight half wig hairpiece (3/4 wig), layered: Autumn Have You tried annabelles Wigs?

The blogger made me do it TAG

The blogger made me do it TAG

Hay everyone! How are you today?  I was recently tagged by the lovely http://www.kimberleysbeautyblog.com to take part in the 'The Blogger Made Me Do It Tag'.
If you haven't already followed her blog "where have you been?" Get over there! I'm excited to do this one. So let's get to it!

1 // Who are your most influential bloggers? Who are the ones that you really rely on for reviews and swatches?

I love http://www.essiebutton.com & http://fleurdeforce.blogspot.co.uk and I have to add the amazing http://missbudgetbeauty.co.uk she is where is who I started following first and she introduced me to the world of blogging.

2 // Do you buy a product solely as a result from one review from your favourite bloggers, or do you look for more reviews from others?

If they are really positive I buy them, but if they are a hit with some and a miss with others I'll read a few more blogs to see what the majority thinks. Unfortunately I am a marketers dream as I buy everything that looks good lol.

3 // What is your most favourite item that you have ever bought as a consequence of blogs?

M collection of  http://eyeslipsface.co.uk products. I love love love them! Plus the people at elf are just so nice. Especially  Hanne, Amy and the Barron.

4/ // What is your least favourite item that you have ever bought as a consequence of blogs?
Primark false nails. Oh my gosh these are crazy bad for my nails.

5 // Name 5 products you have bought recently as a result of blogs.

Barry M foil effect nail paint in 320
Huge elf make up haul kinda a blogger but really the @beautycrowd made me do it.
NYC smooth skin pressed powder in naturally beige
Rimmel stay matte long lasting pressed powder
Primark top

6 // Have you ever given into blogger hype? If so, which hype?

Ok where do I start. Lip butters, collection 2000 concealer, you name it I've more than likely bought it.

7 // Have you ever avoided blogger hype? If so, which hype?

Bioderma, the only reason I have some is I got it in a beauty box and it's a tiny sample.

8 // Is everything you buy based on blogger reviews or are there some items you buy without checking out a review?

I read a lot of review so I would say 80% of things I buy Are as a result of a blog I have read but if it's MAC it's a winner and I buy it regardless.

So what do you think?

I'm going to do a twitter shout out to the bloggers I tag. If you reading this your tagged to.

Insprational Sunday - Busy Bees candles

Hay Everyone,

How are you all Today? It's my favorite day of the week its Sunday and that means inspirational Sunday This week I am Featuring the amazing Husband and Wife team Dee and Haith

Now if you are a follower of my blog you will know I am Candle obsessed. I'm not even sorry! You will know My new Candle addiction is The Wonderful Busybees. So I am Delighted to Feature Busy Bee candles
Now if you don't know them get over to there site and make a wee order. Now if you are like me and love yankee you will find a new love in Busy bees OH MY GOSH the smell from theses are like heaven and shhh but last a lot longer than Yankee.

Well enough from me let me pass you over to Dee

Hi. My name is Dee and together with my husband Haith, we own and operate Busy Bee Candles! The friendly face of the scented candle world.
It all began as a hobby making scented candles and wax tarts for our own use. I used to work in an office & hubby worked as a chartered civil engineer. We used to buy British and American scented candles and wax tarts to use at home but there was always something missing with these. They were predominantly made of Paraffin (which I hate as it’s a crude oil derivative), burned poorly, smelt synthetic and were so expensive. That’s when we started to experiment making our own. We gave little baskets of our handmade goodies as gifts to family and friends for birthdays and as Christmas presents and that’s when it began!

Friends started asking us to make them a batch and then friends of friends started to ask if they could buy them. Before long it became a full time hobby occupying all our spare time and more. Then we hit on the idea of turning our little hobby based in our kitchen into a full time business.  We literally had no experience of retail or supplying shops etc. We used to hand write our fragrance labels for every candle & wax tart!
We’ve come such a long way. We now run Busy Bee Candles from spacious workshops at our smallholding in Wales. We offer probably the largest selection of scented candle scents in the UK (possibly the world) with well over 200 stunning fragrances.

Busy Bee Candles has grown rapidly since we started such a short time ago. We now ship thousands of parcels in the UK as well as internationally. We also supply retailers in the UK, Poland, Germany, Sweden, France, Italy and Finland. More are on the way.
Busy Bee Candles offer a huge selection of scented candles and wax tarts as well as bath & body products, gift baskets and more.

We’ve innovated continuously offering a world first No Clean Wax Tart that leaves very little clean up and our latest innovation, the super strength Magik Beanz melts.

We’ve also recently introduced a new line up of Elegance Candles featuring wooden crackling wicks and a really huge fragrance throw and new bath and body products that have been really well received. Other new products are currently being developed.
With inquiries arriving every day from the UK and overseas, the future looks bright for Busy Bee Candles. We’ve always stuck by our values of offering a superior quality handmade product made using natural ingredients at a great value for money price. Every one of our thousands of products is made by hand to this day. After all, we really did start out in our kitchen and that’s the way we like it.

We are very social at Busy Bee Candles. We are always on Twitter (@BusyBeeCandles, https://twitter.com/BusyBeeCandles) or on Facebook (https://facebook.com/BusyBeeCandles) talking to customers, running a comp or sorting out a glitch. Follow us, like us and talk to us. We love a good chat J.
We absolutely love working for ourselves. It feels like an extended family with our small team at Busy Bee and I couldn’t imagine working for anyone else again. My advice to anyone out there that has an idea or loves doing something in particular – do it! Turn your passion into your day job.
Dee xx

Another amazing story! This really inspire me I love that this all started as a creative hobby.
Get over to Busy Bees and Have a look around.

I'm totally obsessed and have a big order coming for my Mother in laws birthday. I'm so excited to share this with her as she loves candles.
