High end makeup haul Chanel and Mac

Hi everyone
I'm back with a really quick haul. I took the plunge and Got some new Chanel make up. (or should I say my hubby spoiled me by getting me some.) As you know I am a bit of a shopaholic and I Love a bargain so I always check on Everydayisblackfriday.co.uk when I am shopping online. I always scan this site to check for the cheapest deal its so good for checking the sale items and so much quicker than me trawling through the sights for hours.

You know I love high end make up but I have never quite bit the bullet and bought any Chanel. To be honest normally because I'm intimidated with the sales ladies on the Chanel counter.

I have to say I got mine in Boots in Aberdeen and the lady who helped me was wonderful.
I wanted a new foundation and I had it in my head I would love Vitalumiere aqua But this looked terrible on me. Yes it was dewy but more like I had just done a heavy workout. Defo not the look I wanted.

I was recommended Perfection Lumiere OH MY GOSH where have you been all my life the finish is heaven. My skin but better. The coverage is build able perfect for me as I don't really need a full coverage. This give a matt but fresh look.To finish the look I got Poudre universelle compacte natural finishing powder. This is the perfect mattiflying compact! this keep my make up in place with a couple of touch up. Amazing.
I also picked up the eclat Lumiere highlighter pen and this was in a rose colours which I was shocked with at first as I have yellow undertone in my skin but this really helps my dark circles under my eyes and I have used it on a couple spots and it really makes a difference,
 The freebies with my purchases
I may have had to pop in to the Mac counter and I grabbed a new Lippy in Yash and matching liner.
Beautiful matt nude I actually went in for velvet teddy but when the lady recommend this is was love at first sight! youtube tutorial to come.

My top 10 ways to relax

Hi Everyone,

How are we all today?

Summer is a very busy time for me. I have a part time job, My own massage business and My blog to keep me busy. Throw in the fact I'm studying for a facial and make up diploma this summer and you could say I feel like I never get a minute to myself. Some times you just want a pillow to scream in Ha Ha.

This has me thinking what do I do to relax. Here is my top Ten things I do in my down time.

1. I work out, No shock to you all there. I jump on my mountain bike with my mates and hit the trails or a quick HIIT session. Boom endorphins!

2. I read the news online from the BBC to the Daily Mail.  I know everyone does this but I find I have to read this at night to find out whats going on in the world after a busy day.

3. Hello My name is Laura and I'm a social media junkie. I love reading twitter and Instagram! I can spend hours looking at the pretty photos and reading comments on them.

4. A little known fact I like a wee flutter or two in Online Casino. I am very sensible and set myself limits. I love the thrill of playing and there such a community feel to it too.

5. I watch YouTubes! I love anything beauty related from FleurDeForce to Dr Pimple popper. My hubby has even said I know more about these people then my own friends Ha!

6. I bake. Not as often as I used to and I am defo no Tanya Burr but I try and my specialty is raspberry and coconut muffins.

7. Cuddling my two dogs. There really is nothing better than a cuddle from my hubby and my pups. I find stroking them is really soothing too. Now I am Scottish and I have always called this clapping a dog. My Hubby is English and finds this hilarious! Apparently this is a Scottish term!

8. A Bath and a hair and face mask watching the latest netflix. Just now for me its my crazy ex girl friend. I love it! its so cheesy that its right up my street. I find after a long day I don't want to watch a gritty drama give me a good old chick flick type series and I'm one happy girl.

9.  Going for a walk sounds simple but I get my friend and we pound the pavement. Its free therapy we get to discuss all our worries and annoyances  that we have had over the last few day and this really helps as it gives you another prospectus. There just somethings your partner will never understand and to be honest you probable don't want them to.

10. Online fantasy shopping. I go on my favorite sites and make endless basket full of items I want. Sometimes I have no intention of buying them but just the act of shopping and browsing makes me happy. Come on how many of you have basket like this? This was in My basket and my hubby got it for my Christmas.

So that's My Top tips what do you do ?

Nutty about butter?

Hi everyone,

I'm back on my fitness mission. Now you may or may not know I am a huge fan of myprotein.com.
And I am a activator of a high protein diet. So I was delighted to received these Nutty butter a new product in the myprotein range!

I am more of a grazer then a 3 meals a day person and I love a good healthy snack. I like to add theses to rice cakes or crackers for a mid morning post work out boost. They are all tasty but my favorite by a smidge is the almond butter. Theses are perfect to bulk out your smooties as well.
and added to check they are heaven to make a chicken satay. I used this cheeky chicken satay but adapted it to my taste no honey!

So why are these so good for me but tasty naughty?

Let start with the obvious one it contains protein which any health and fitness freak will tell you is the key to staying healthy lean and fuller for longer. Healthy fats these help to regulate your cholesterol levels. Magnesium help fight tiredness and also giving a bit of a kick to your metabolic rate.
And the one everyone forgets about Vitamin E I wont harp on about the benefit of this but it helps our heart and also helps with energy levels.
