The construction
Let's start with the construction of the Origin Hybrid Mattress. It is made with a combination of ErgoCoil steel springs and Origins own Hexagrid material which offers 30% more pressure relief and IceCool Foam which is like memory foam but better, this mattress offers the perfect balance of support and comfort due to its unique design. The ErgoCoil steel springs provide targeted support to different areas of the body, while the Hexagrid material and IceCool Foam contour to your shape, ensuring pressure relief and alignment for a restful night's sleep. Then add in The D2 Edge support high quility foam which increases the comfort even more and makes getting in and out of bed easier.

This unique hybrid design sets the Origin mattress apart from traditional spring or foam mattresses, offering the best of both worlds. On the firmness scale, It's around a 7. It also has a Bamboo-infused wool layer this special layer adds extra softness and comfort. Plus it is hypoallergenic and helps to fight off dust mites.  The top cover is handcrafted with SnowTencel fiber which is so soft and comfy to lie on by itself you can feel it is cooling to the touch. So soft like sleeping on a cloud.

Breathability
One of the standout features of the Origin Hybrid Mattress is its breathability. The mattress is designed with a cooling fabric cover and the design allowing for optimal airflow and temperature regulation throughout the night. As someone who tends to overheat during sleep, I've found this feature particularly beneficial in keeping me cool and comfortable, I am looking forward to summer in the van with this.  Goodbye to sweaty, restless nights and hello to uninterrupted sleep. The bamboo wool layer also helps to absorb any moisture during your night's sleep.

Motion stopping
Another aspect that really impressed me is the motion isolation of the Origin Hybrid Mattress. Thanks to its ErgoCoil steel spring and responsive Hexagrid and IceCoolfoam, the mattress effectively absorbs movement, minimizing disturbances from a restless Husband.  This means that I can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep without being jolted awake every time my partner shifts positions. Plus, the edge support of the mattress ensures I feel safe up here without feeling like I'm about to fall out.

Durability
In terms of durability, the Origin Hybrid Mattress is built to last. Made with high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship, this mattress is designed to withstand years of use without losing its shape or support.  The ErgoCoil steel springs are individually encased to prevent sagging and ensure consistent support, while the Hexagrid and IceCoolfoam, retain their resilience over time. As someone who values longevity in a mattress investment, I appreciate the durability and reliability of the Origin mattress. Let's face it a mattress is an investment in your quility of life. Nothing worse than a bad night's sleep.

Testing
Origins have really put the Hybrid Mattress to the test getting sleep experts to put it through its paces. They are so confident in the design and longevity of this mattress that it has a 15-year guarantee. There is a reason the Origins hybrid mattress is favoured by industry insiders and even Olympians. So you know it has to be good and long-lasting. The Hybrid mattress is certified made in Britain and has CertPUR-us and CeriOEKO-Tex these accreditations mean the product has been tested in independent labs and is free of harmful substances and baby-safe.

Comfort
In terms of comfort, the Origin Hybrid Mattress surpasses my expectations. The combination of ErgoCoil steel springs, Hexagrid material and IceCool Foam provides the perfect balance of support and plushness, cradling my body in all the right places. Whether I'm sleeping on a side, back, or stomach, I wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, with no aches or pains.  I tend to move about a lot in my sleep depending on a few factors. The mattress adapts to my body's contours, ensuring a custom-fit sleep experience every night.

Customer service
You know I need good customer service to really recommend something to you all. Ordering the Origin Hybrid Mattress was so simple I ordered online and the delivery was really quick.  Which is unheard of in the Highlands.  The mattress arrives compressed and rolled in a compact box. This makes it easy to manoeuvre and set up in any room of the house or van in my case. It is a bit heavy to put in the van, so my husband had to help me. But look at the bed it is going on this is not a one-person job. Plus, the mattress comes with a risk-free trial period and a good warranty.

The Origin Hybrid Mattress has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From its innovative design and superior comfort to its durability this mattress ticks all my boxes for a restful night's sleep. If you're in the market for a new mattress that offers unparalleled support, breathability, and comfort, look no further than the Origin Hybrid Mattress. Trust me, your sleep quality will thank you for it. You are welcome.
