Tea and tonic High Spirits body oil review

Today I am back with a review of Tea and Tonics High spirits body oil. I have been a fan of Tea and Tonics for a little while and when they reached out to offer me the chance to try one of their products I knew which I wanted to try. It had to be one of the body oils.

Who are tea and tonic?

They are a British 100% natural skincare and wellness brand.  This brand is doing wonderful things in the sustainable wellness and beauty field. They are hand-blended, sustainably sourced and vegan and cruelty-free. They have discovered the secret to brighter skin and self with help of some amazing ingredients. Their luxury wellness products holistically balance dry, oily or sensitive skin.

Tea and Tonic were developed by Sarah who has worked in luxury lifestyle brands for nearly 20 years and for the past 12 years she has specialised in wellness brands. she has worked with some of the world leaders in the wellness space. This gave her a great array of knowledge to start her own brand in this space.
She knew Running her business, juggling a young family and dealing with life’s various stresses, she knows how stress impacts how we look and feel. Sarah believes that to achieve wellness, balance and brightness in skin and self, we need to strengthen our resilience to everyday stress. How? She discovered adaptogen superherbs to support her high-paced life and her eyes were opened.

I knew I had to try Tea and tonic High Spirits body oil £39. I have very dry skin. I do a lot of cycling in all weather and this leads to my skin craving moisture no matter what the weather. I find it hard to find a nice body oil that is not only nice but also a high performer.
Tea and Tonic High Spirits body oil
This is our tonic to help energise & uplift body & mind whilst hydrating, nourishing & smoothing your skin. 100% Natural. Vegan Friendly. Cruelty Free. Gluten Free.

The packaging.
The packaging of the High spirits body oil is lovely. It is really luxurious in feeling and appearance, I love that it has the world land trust seal of approval this means the paper used is carbon balanced. This proves that luxury products be packaged in a suitable way.

The product itself is in a really nice strong glass bottle with a little pump. I prefer a pump with oil products as I find this leads to less waste of the product and you get more value for money. This bottle is defiantly aesthetically pleasing. The green and gold colours really work together.

Key benefits
This is a fast-absorbing nursing body oil. It is rich in vitamin C & E, omega fatty acids Phytosterols and antioxidants.
The environment and the oils
We source with sustainability in mind from quality, freshness and mileage to the environmental production methods required. This natural skincare product contains over 80% of ingredients grown on UK farms.

Includes Crambe Abyssinian and cold-pressed Camelina Oil which are all grown as part of the Bee Friendly project / RHS Plants for Pollinators which help local ecosystems by supporting a healthy Bee population

The product review.
The bottle can be as pretty as it wants to be but the most important factor when buying any beauty item does it work. I have been using this oil for a couple of weeks now.

The smell.
To me, this has a very earthy grounded smell I can get hints of eucalyptus and rosemary. It has a warming aroma. You know scent is very important to me and I really like this one. It has a very relaxing and friendly smell. It did make me feel as if I had more energy and revitalised after using this. It is not a before bed oil as it really does lift your mood and make you feel more awake. Well, it did for me.

Does it work?
I use found I used Tea and tonic's high spirit body oil after my shower the most.  I work the oil it into my skin in circular movements. I am a trained masseuse after all.  This oil is very luxurious and I find it to be really moisturising. It has improved the texture of the skin on my legs. My legs are my problem area due to all the cycling I do. A little of this oil goes a very long way. This actually makes it good value for money in my opinion.

I have also added it to my bath water for an extra hit of energy and skin-boosting properties. I have really enjoyed the High spirit oil and I would buy it again.
