We all know somebody who looks so much younger than they actually are. I know it isn’t just me! It’s never too late to take the steps to look years younger, no matter how old you are. I have some tips here that could help you to knock years off your appearance! Take a look:
Start a Consistent Skin Care Routine ASAP
If you don’t already have a consistent skin care routine, make sure you start one up ASAP. Don’t leave it a minute longer. First, find out your skin type. You can find tutorials to do this or ask a professional. Then select skin care products to suit your skin type. Never use a product that isn’t suited to your skin type, or you’ll make it worse! All good skin care routines need a cleanser, toner and moisturiser at least. You can also choose a facial exfoliator, serum, and face mask. Make sure you keep up your skin care routine twice a day. Some people use a night cream before bed to help repair skin, rather than a regular moisturiser. Make sure you do lots of research and choose products suited to your skin.
Exercise and Eat Right
Sorry, but it must be done! You must exercise and eat right if you want to look younger. People who exercise always look much younger than those who don’t. Exercise at least 3 times a week doing something you enjoy, and make sure your diet is full of whole foods. You can never eat too many vegetables when you’re trying to look younger!
Drink Lots of Water
Lots of water is the key to flushing out nasties, staying hydrated, and looking radiant. 3-4 liters a day should do the trick. It sounds like a lot, but once you make it a habit it’ll be fine. Carry your bottles with you to make sure you drink it all.
Protect from the Sun
Protect your skin from the sun, or you could age years before your time. People who laze in the sun all day always have more wrinkles and skin damage than people who protect themselves. Wear sunglasses, and a hat if the sun is extra hot. Make sure you apply sunscreen, even if the sun isn’t out!
Keep an Eye on Imperfections and Changes
Skin can change each season. It can even change for no apparent reason. Make sure you keep an eye on these imperfections and changes, just in case they are anything to worry about.
See a Professional
See a professional about your imperfections if you’re not sure what to do. You might want to get a prescription cream from the doctor, or wrinkle fillers from a certified practitioner.
Stress is the number one cause of wrinkles and lines, apart from ageing, so stop. It’s up to you what you worry about and get worked up about, so avoid letting things make you worry. Do things that help you to relax. Don’t worry about things you can’t change.

Makeup can do magical things for the appearance, so have a play around and see what you can do. There are a ton of tutorials online that will help you to look younger and more radiant!
