What on earth is going on with the weather? I mean last week went from blissful sun to winter snow in 24 hours up here and I am so over it. I mean don't get me wrong I love the extreme winters up here in the Highlands But I am ready for summer.
I want to be sippling ice-cold lattes during the day and sweet cocktails at night. Instead, I have reverted back to hot chocolate and endless cups of tea to warm up. I could not be more excited about summer this year. I know my plans are all on hold but I love the UK and I am actually excited to spend the summer here. I am of course like you sad that we won't be venturing further afield and my feet are super itchy to go travelling but as the days turn to weeks and then a month I will just be happy to spend a little time in a differnt part of the UK.
I am super lucky as my wonderful inlaws live in Devon and we all being well can go and finally see them. It has been too long. Devon is so differnt from here in the highlands. It is so warm and every time I go I can't believe the differance in the sea temperature and I am so excited about beach days in devon. So let's talk about the best denin short for this summer.

A bit about me if you are new here. I am a size 8 at the moment I am normally an 8/10 but I have been training a bit harder for my summer holiday in 2021 hopefully. My summer holidays are mountain biking so I need to be physically strong and fit for it. I am an hourglass shape. I hold my weight on my hips boobs and bum. I will tell you what size I have got so you can gauge the sizing. These posts always photo heavy so let's get into it. Yes, I am aware I will not be going on an abroad holiday but summer bodies are made in winter so I was already training before this all happened and being fit and healthy at this time can only help me right?

This is the Dusky Pink Cropped Long Sleeve Hoodie Shirred Waist Joggers Loopback Loungewear Set - Isabella size S/M. Oh my gosh, this is my colour. I love this tone on my skin tone. It really makes me feel happy. I have fallen hard for this crop top. I really like the way the hoodie sits at the front it's like a peter pan collar. I love that it makes it look a bit more classy. This is a longer style crop on me which are my favourite for my hourglass shape. It hits me in the right area of my body. I love the slouchy oversized mess of the top. The gathered band detailing really makes it pop in this respect. The trousers are really cute. A bit oversized in the waist for me but we all know I have a very small waist for my size. This would look cute with white trainers. I love my hair like this for this casual but put together look.
This is the Blue Distressed Ripped High Waist Denim Shorts - Jovita size 8. I love a denim short I mean they scream summer is here don't they. I like the distressed and cut out detail in this pair. They are very on-trend and I would say the sizing is spot on. I have large thighs from all my mountain biking and they still fit me. I would team this with either a tucked T-shirt or a cropped top or bikini to hit the beach. I am thinking of wedge heels or flip flops too.
These are Blue Mid Wash Distressed Denim Shorts - Leanna size 10. I ordered these a size up as I wanted a pair that were a bit comfier for throwing on after a swim. Do you do that or is that just a me thing. These are classic denim shorts. We all need a pair like these in our summer wardrobe, right? So easy to throw on and pair with our favriote t-shirt or crop top. I like the little destressed bits on these. I would again pair it with a pair of wedges. How much have these made me want to hit the beach. She says whilst watching the rain bounce off her window. I am so ready for summer in these shorts.
